ABOUT Human Element™ | Eleni Ellie Passakos
Who I Am
I am Eleni (Ellie) Passakos – HR Strategist, People & Culture Leader, and creator of the Human Element™ framework. Born in Athens with Greek–Cypriot roots and shaped by a deeply multicultural life, I believe that human connection is the most powerful driver of leadership, performance, and organizational resilience.
My academic foundation in Journalism and Media taught me to observe, listen, and understand the meaning behind human behavior, skills that became the backbone of my work in people-centered leadership.
My Professional Journey
My career began in the global aviation industry, one of the most demanding and culturally diverse environments in the world.
I progressed into leadership roles within international airlines, working with teams across more than 140 nationalities and navigating high-pressure, fast-changing operational contexts.
Following consistently strong evaluations, I transitioned into Training and Human Factors roles, supporting and delivering programs across:
- Leadership development
- Emotional Intelligence & Cultural Intelligence
- Safety & Behavioral Performance
- Crew Resource Management (CRM)
These programs were delivered not only within major airlines but also across Flying Training Schools and Aviation Academies, where I supported both new and experienced professionals in developing the mindset and behaviors required for safe, effective, human-centered operations.Through this work, I learned something fundamental: Human skills are not “soft.” They are operational assets.
Evolving Into People & Culture Leadership
After returning to Greece for family reasons, I transitioned fully into People Operations and HR Strategy. Over the years, I have supported organizations through:

- Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Organizational transitions and restructuring
- People operations in complex, multicultural environments
- Leadership support and culture-building initiatives
- Sensitive separation and end-of-employment processes handled with dignity and clarity

Across every role, my purpose has remained the same: to bring structure, humanity, and clarity to workplaces and to lift the people within them.
The Human Element™
Alongside my professional roles, I developed the Human Element™ framework — a people-first approach designed to help organizations understand and strengthen the core elements that drive performance and culture.
The framework includes:
- leadership trainings and workshops
- human-centered workplace culture programs
- webinars and learning experiences
- a quantitative organizational assessment tool focused on cultural alignment, role clarity, decision-making structures, and engagement risks
Human Element™ is built on a simple belief: Organizations thrive when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to contribute with clarity and purpose.
My work is delivered both individually and in collaboration with trusted professionals who operate in alignment with the Human Element™ philosophy, ensuring a cohesive, consistent, and high-quality experience across every engagement.
My Values
I am deeply family-oriented, a strong advocate of work–life balance, and a regular yoga practitioner. These values shape the way I lead, collaborate, and design people strategies.
I believe in humanizing workplaces, building cultures of trust, and creating environments where people can grow – not just perform.
